Grayling Township
The following is a list of items that are accepted at the Grayling Township Recycling Center, and how they should be prepared for drop off:
Newspaper: bundled in brown paper bags or tied with string.
NO: Coupons, envelopes or junk mail.Magazines: Glossy magazines, catalogs and glossy inserts.
NO: Phone books, TV Guides or Readers Digest.
**Please separate newspapers and magazines.Cardboard: Corrugated only.
NO: Grayboard (i.e.: cereal boxes) or wax coated cardboard.Plastic #1 & #2: Please rinse and remove caps and rings.
NO: Oil containers, containers with the poison symbol, or containers other than #1 or #2.Milk Jugs: Rinse and remove caps and rings.
Tin Cans: Rinse, remove labels and flatten if possible.
NO: Paint cans, aerosol cans or scrap metal.Aluminum cans & foil: Separate from Tin.
NO: Dirty or burned items.Glass: Rinse and remove caps.
NO: Frosted Glass, blue glass, Pyrex or scrap (i.e.: broken windows or mirrors).Styrofoam: Clean Styrofoam and packing materials.
NO: Foam insulation.** Under no circumstances will medical waste (i.e.: syringes) be accepted.

Tuesday and Thursday 1 pm - 8 pm
Saturday 9 am - 4 pm
